About our club
Gosford Woodport Physie Club is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Our club started in 1977 as Point Clare Club where it stayed until moving in 1985 to Gosford R.S.L Club. The existing Gosford Woodport Club moved to Woodport Public School in 1994 and this is where our preschoolers to 1st yr senior girls have their class each Tuesday. We hold classes at 2 locations on the Coast - Erina and Terrigal. We have classes that cater to all ages from 3 years old to ladies.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly club and look forward to welcoming all new members into our club.
As of 2012 Gosford Woodport Physical Culture Club will become known as
Terrigal Woodport Physical Culture Club.

Meet our teacher
Julia Slape
Julia has been doing physie for around 30 years. She started physie with Blacktown City Physical Culture Club when she was only 3 years of age and stayed with the club until moving to the Central Coast. Julia has been with Gosford Woodport Physical Culture Club for the last 10 years.
As a junior Julia place at Zone competitions every year and went on to compete at the National Finals at the Opera House. Julia has also place numerous times as a senior and lady at zone competitions and competing at National Finals at the Opera House and Homebush State Sports Centre. Julia has twice place 3rd in the National Finals (once in the juniors and once as a lady) and has made the National Grand Final twice (once as a senior and once as a lady). She has also had the opportunity to compete in teams almost every year of her physie career, with most of those teams placing in their divisions.
Julia has been teaching the 3 - 8 year olds at Gosford Woodport since 2005. Julia is a great teacher, always having lots of fun with the girls. Julia's classes are often the largest of the club and Julia's calm approach to teaching ensures the girls keep coming back.
During 2011 Julia will be teaching all age groups while Miss Viv takes a year off from teaching. She is looking forward to reconnecting with girls that she taught through the younger groups that have now moved up.
